Red Objects
- Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM, 2020/21
In recent years, among the Asian countries that have been producing the most bricks in the world, Vietnam is also increasing the number of bricks produced, and it reaches more than 25 billion pieces a year. Indeed, in the city of Vietnam, where construction and demolition are repeated everywhere, it can be seen through exposed bricks in the city of Vietnam.
Interestingly, due to its primitiveness, the brick shows directly the material of the city as well as the amount of used soil. Through such a situation, I started photographing in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, where urbanization is progressing, in order to capture the aspect of urbanization that has been constructed with artificial objects transformed from natural objects.
